About Paul & Wendy

Although certified trade qualified (timber manufacturing and hairdressing) we ventured into hospitality in the early part of our working lives, initially in part time capacities. This introduction laid the path, and the foundations of our journey into relief management.

In the late eighties, and seeing our future in tourism and hospitality, as individuals, we took on the challengers of full time employ, within the mainland holiday, eco island resort, and motel sector over the next 10 years.

In 1998 we brought together our skills obtained over that period, and formed Hosts On The Run, a husband and wife partnership concentrating on relief management servicing the hospitality industry. This role has seen us not only in the role of relief management of many motels, but also we have been contracted by investors and developers, to open a new motel, maintain and re-establish others. Our skills have also been applied in the refurbishment, and re-generation of a holiday resort / apartment complex as well.

With a wealth of knowledge, plus our experiences gained since the inception of Hosts On The Run, not only are we still be very hands on and active by servicing the relief management requirements of hospitality properties, we now bring together, professional relief managers and hospitality properties.

So since mid 2009 we have been building Hosts On The Run to be a major identity in this very exciting and challenging field.
